When Bobby told me his reason for wanting to do a shoot for himself, I was truly moved. He told me a story how he recently came across a photo of himself when we was young and remembered hating himself at that age. He didn’t like how he looked and had low self image. Looking at that photo now, he only sees a beautiful boy with lovely skin and a six pack haha! I feel like we all can relate to this. Just think…when you’re 20 years older, how are you going to think about yourself as you are now? Don’t wait; express self kindness and have appreciation for your body & soul.
In Bobby’s own words:
I’m a busy single father of 2 amazing little humans. I went through an amicable separation 2 years ago and have spent much time doing personal development work and focusing on things that really matter – my family and friends. Since having met the amazing woman who took these photos, we’ve become friends. When she suggested a photo shoot, I initially thought “un-uhhh!”. I had a birthday recently and decided to do it because I wanted to be captured in Stacey’s artistic vision. Someday we all end up with old, wrinkly bodies, but now with the help of a Friend’s artistic and photographic vision, I have that snap shot in time of a moment in my life which I’ll treasure forever. The world needs more intimacy, sensuality and vulnerability. I’m deeply grateful and appreciative to have had this experience.

Amazing, it takes real strength to allow yourself to express vulnerability. I can imagine it being even more difficult for men to do this. He is quite handsome and these images are so artistically done. I hope he hangs one in his home, he is the most valuable kind of art.
